To meet safety requirements, positively driven feedback contacts must be evaluated in a manner that is appropriate for safety technology. This module evaluates this data internally, making it just as easy to use the six safe relay outputs as it is to use semiconductor-based outputs. The digital output module has relay-type single-channel isolated normally open outputs with a maximum switching capacity of 230 VAC/6 A or 24 VDC/6 A. It can be used for controlling floating actuators in safety-related applications up to PL e or SIL 3. Safe digital output channels provide protection against automatic restart when network errors occur. In addition, the module is designed for X20 12-pin terminal blocks.
