The RevPi Connect 4, based on the Raspberry Pi compute module (CM4) has a modular design and open-source concept. In conjunction with integrated interfaces, the device is suitable for a range of applications as an industrial PC, industrial controller, edge device or IIoT gateway. The RevPi Connect 4 uses the Broadcom BCM2711 processor, a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A72 with up to 8 GB RAM. As a storage medium, the eMMC memory is available with up to 32 GB. Additionally, there is the option for WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity. The device, which is encased in a DIN rail housing, offers two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The two USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces support transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s. The front of the device has six RGB LEDs, five of them can be individually programmed and controlled. The RevPi Connect 4 has client and server capabilities for Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols by default. It also supports MQTT and OPC UA.
