    New scanning technology measures barrier film thickness

    Combyscan by Syncro is based on Synchro's Optylayer system, which uses capacitive and inductive technology to measure the total thickness of the barrier film in blown film lines. The near-infrared technique used by Combyscan with Optylayer is able to discriminate between the different layers in a complex barrier structure.
