Certified OPC UA Data Logger

Jan. 3, 2011
The new OPC Data Logger now offers support for OPC UA connectivity.
The company's OPC client offers logging of production data from OPC DA and UA servers, and it can be managed by open data storage applications, such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL, text files/csv and Excel. Designed for a range of applications where a historian is not required, the data logger uses native drivers when connecting to databases. Other features include support for all current and previous Windows operating systems and triggered start or stop of logging functions based on timers, events or other user-defined conditions. The OPC client, with the UA connectivity, is the first to pass the OPC Foundation's Independent Lab Certification, the company says.
