Carlo Gavazzi: Miniature Photoelectric Sensors

The PD30 Basic Series of photoelectric sensors include a background suppression version for diffuse sensing applications that use a sensing principle that helps detect different colors, which allow for a tighter gap between the sensing target and the background.

The PD30 Basic Series shares many of the same features of the PD30 Teach-In Series including: 10- x 20- x 30-mm housing; PNP/NPN and normally open/normally closed outputs; IP67 rating; sensing distance in a small housing with ranges up to 15 meters; dual LEDs for power and signal indication, and set-up via potentiometer. The Basic Series fits most material handling, packaging, pharmaceutical and parts detection applications.
