EtherNet/IP Encoders

Kuebler's optical absolute single-turn and multi-turn Sendix F58 EtherNet/IP encoders with a diameter of 58 mm are designed for time-critical applications.
Dec. 31, 2015

Position value transmission is five times faster than common market encoders. RPI (Requested Packet Interval) time is 1 ms, allowing use in time-critical applications up to a 1000 Hz update frequency. Another feature is the short starting time: it takes place immediately after applying the supply voltage. Cyclic services allow fast and easy commissioning and configuration, saving costs and time. With the implementation of DLR (Device Level Ring) a single cable break does not lead to plant stoppage. Ring redundancy is ensured. Encoders are available in solid shaft or blind hollow shaft version; the blind hollow shaft has a diameter of 15 mm. The encoders have an IP65 protection level, a temperature range from -40 to 80 °C and are 100% insensitive to magnetic fields. With Safety-Lock bearing design, they withstand installation errors, shocks and vibrations. Total resolution is 32 bits. The devices are ODVA-certified. Suggested applications include automotive production, logistics, metal processing, textile, printing and packaging machines.
