Standard probe insertion lengths are 30, 50, 100, and 150 mm, and two integral male NPT thread sizes (1/4-inch or 1/2-inch) allow direct mounting to the process or thermowells, eliminating the need for separate probe mounting or adapter fittings. An M12 quick-disconnect allows connection to the loop-powered 4-20 mA output signal that provides a linear representation of measured temperature compatible with PLCs, SCADA systems, and digital panel meters. Free downloadable ProSense XT-SOFT software enables users to program the transmitter probe with a custom measuring range and change other configuration parameters, such as measuring unit (°C/°F), range limits (-58 to 302°F), fault condition reaction, output, and more.
