Siemens IIH (Industrial Information Hub) v2.0 is a scalable data integration platform designed to collect, contextualize and process industrial data from diverse sources across OT and IT environments. It enables real-time data visibility and insights by creating a standardized, interoperable data layer for advanced analytics, AI applications and digital twins. With IIH Essentials for Industrial Edge, users can store and structure machine data on an industrial edge device. The ability to reuse these defined structures speeds up configuration. An integrated buffer functionality avoids storage overflow. Information is made available via OPC UA, which means users can expand any brownfield device and standardize older devices. IIH enables users to process all data — from Siemens and other suppliers, aggregate and condense data from different devices, map IT and OT with one configurator, bring brownfield devices up to date, and use data access functions via GraphQL and REST for flexible and scalable integration.
