The SE-PB100 STRIDE Pocket Portal from AutomationDirect is a low-cost industrial wireless IoT end-to-end cloud data logger that connects industrial equipment and sensors to the cloud.
The Pocket Portal has an RS-485/power port, input/output port and browser interface, and provides limited control with Modbus RTU write capability (up to 115.2k baud) and 3 VDC discrete output logic. Unmonitored devices can be IoT connected and become monitored quickly with Modbus RTU, four digital and two analog inputs. A Modbus device and up to four discrete outputs can be remotely controlled using the Pocket Portal mobile app. Features include panel or optional 35 mm DIN rail mounting; operating temperature range of -20 to +70 °C (-4 to +158 °F); Wi-Fi, power and Bluetooth LED indicators; and CE and FCC agency approvals. The unit requires a Wi-Fi internet connection and a monthly data subscription.
