FactoryTalk Optix is a new addition to Rockwell Automation’s visualization portfolio. It is a cloud-enabled human-machine interface (HMI) platform that allows users to design, test and deploy applications directly from a web browser. Machine-to-machine and machine-to cloud communications are enabled by OPC UA, MQTT, and IOT native connectivity and an open C# interface. FactoryTalk Optix is designed for teams of all sizes, skill sets and locations to work smarter through improved lifecycle management and on-demand access to cloud-based software while adhering to the latest security standards and IT best practices.
