As the latest addition to the vendor’s line of miniature picoprox sensors, the Bi 1-EH03 is a 3 mm diameter inductive sensor that is well suited for sensing applications in tight areas.
The Bi 1-EH03 offers a 1 mm sensing range on mild steel without the need for an in-line amplifier. The LED located near the cable entry of the sensor enables the user to confirm that the appropriate operation is in progress. The Bi 1-EH03 sensor has a smooth, stainless steel barrel, with 2 meters of PUR potted-in cable for increased durability in applications where cutting coolants and other harsh chemicals are present. The vendor’s M8 picofast and M12 eurofast connectors can also be molded to the cable. The 3-wire, 10-20VDC sensor features integral circuitry that protects against wire-break and reverse polarity and is available with either a PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking) TTL compatible output. The IP 67 rated sensor has a temperature rating of -25 °C to +70 °C.
