Electric Automation Event to Make U.S. Debut

Dec. 1, 2004
SPS Electric Automation America Exhibition and Conference, a trade event focused on electric automation technologies, will make its U.S.

debut May 23-26, 2005. The exhibition portion of the event will be held May 24-26 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The conference will begin one day earlier, running May 23-26 at the same venue.

The exhibition will cover electric automation, from components to complete systems, and will offer integrated automation solutions as well as motion control products, according to show organizers Messe Frankfurt Inc., Atlanta, and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. The popularity and success of a similar event in Europe has impressed a significant number of international companies, which have already signed up for exhibit space at the Chicago event, the organizers say.

The conference portion of Electric Automation America will focus on the development and successful application of electric automation components on the factory floor, such as motors, drives, motion control systems and sensors. Technical paper sessions, panel discussions and professional seminars will encompass the design, manufacture, standardization, use, industry direction and trends of electric automation components, products and systems. Additional information on the event is available online at www.ea-america.com.
