The unit is EtherCAT and CANopen compliant and, in conjunction with the company's Gold Maestro, creates a high-level, real-time, multi-axis network, while available software tools make setup and tuning easy. Features include "direct to mains" operation from rectified 480 VAC; high speed networking by fully compliant EtherCAT or CANopen; host communication via USB and Ethernet; support for any feedback in any configuration—single, dual, gantry, etc.; wide bandwidth in current, velocity and position operating modes; advanced, extremely fast and efficient vector control algorithm (current loop bandwidth: 4 kHz); and compliance with most stringent industrial standards such as IEC61800, UL508c, UL60950, and EN61000. Efficiency is in the range of 99%.
