The digital positioning controller EPOS3 70/10 EtherCAT allows real-time positioning of synchronized multi-axis systems. The EPOS3’s nominal power supply voltage ranges from 11 to 70 V dc and delivers a continuous output current of 10 A, during acceleration and deceleration up to 25 A. It is designed for dc brushed and brushless motors with a power range up to 700 W. It provides uniform running for motors equipped with incremental encoders. The EPOS3 70/10 EtherCAT integrates as a slave into real-time EtherCAT protocol-based Ethernet networks.
