Stainless Steel Monitors

June 20, 2011
The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech announces its new range of Flat Panel Industrial Monitors with 316L stainless steel front panels, the FPM-3151S, FPM-3171S, and the FPM-3191S.

These monitors are available in 15", 17" and 19" screen sizes and have been designed specifically for use in environments which require high levels of cleanliness and variable temperatures. With their IP66 protection and the 2.8mm thick resistive glass panel, this prevents dust, water and oil from entering the monitor when it's being cleaned in temperatures ranging from -20~60°C.

To increase functionality, these monitors support both USB and RS-232 connectivity for controlling the systems and each display can be connected via either VGA or HDMI ports for added versatility.

For added reliability and lower power consumption, they use 5-wire and LED backlit screen. The LED screen reduces power consumption by 22% whilst increasing brightness by 12%.
