Connect Distant Ethernet Networks

Dec. 1, 2010
The Long Range Ethernet Extender is a G.SHDSL (Single-pair, High-bit-rate, Digital Subscriber Line) Ethernet Network Extender that provides full-duplex transmission with bandwidth aggregation up to 10.8Mbps over two pairs of copper wire for point-to-point LAN connectivity between two Ethernet networks.
This is enough speed to support VoIP, Web hosting, and teleconferencing. Features include long-range, full-duplex transmission at broadband speeds; point-to-point LAN connectivity between two Ethernet networks; use of G.SHDSL standard over 1 or 2 pairs of existing copper wire; adaptive data rate connections at highest possible speed; connections of up to 20,500 feet (6.25 km) at 192Kbps; transparency to network operations; dual 10/100 Mbps LAN connections with auto-sensing, auto-negotiating, auto MDI/MDI-X. With model number EIDM-EXTEND-2, the Long Range Ethernet Extender is well-suited for applications including tank farms, connecting distant facilities and broadband connections to remote locations.B&B Electronics www.bb-elec.com815.433.5100
