In response to the growing demand of LED lighting PowerGate LLC announces the release of the Mean Well HLG-240 series of LED Power Supplies fulfilling a growing need for higher power solutions within the lighting industry.

The HLG-240H series features 90~305VAC wide range AC input (90~264VAC for HLG-240) with Active Power Factor Correction to meet the harmonic current limitations of EN61000-3-2 Class C and provide >0.9PF under 65-100% load conditions and typical 0.98PF at full load. 4KV surge operation (EN61000-4-5) makes the supply compliant to the requirements of street lighting applications. The major characteristics of the HLG-240 series are: fully potted for IP 65 or IP67 waterproof / dustproof ratings; 95-105% adjustable DC output voltage; 50-100% adjustable output current; aluminum case and stainless screws for harsh environments; 94% efficient synchronous rectification topology; -30°C to +70°C operating temperature range; short-circuit, over-voltage, over-load, and over-temperature protection; and global certification per UL1012, EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 of lighting regulations as well as UL60950, EN60950-1 of IT regulations. The HLG-240 power supplies are ideal power solutions for LED street lighting, outdoor electric display, LED decorative lighting, and indoor/outdoor LED lighting.
