Dec. 10, 2009
The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech continues to take steps in their green automation evolution.
By including cutting edge power saving technology in Advantech products, this enables customers to develop automation solutions that minimize energy consumption.
Advantech's EKI-2725 and EKI-2728 Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches have received the 2009 "Innovation & Energy-Saving Products" award from China's automation industry, held by MM (MASCHINENMARKT) China Magazine and the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) on Nov. 4, 2009. Garnering high praise from industry veterans, these switches were chosen for their energy efficient design, which results in 10 to 15% power savings as compared to similar models on the market.
With a variety of environmentally-responsible designs, such as optimized DC/DC power supply, a power-saving Ethernet switch controller and RoHS, the EKI-2725 and EKI-2728 are excellent examples of eco-friendly industrial Ethernet switches.
