The TE1 range is a temperature measurement system that measures process temperatures from -50°C to 250°C.
The TE1 range has a stainless steel field housing, and is available with different industrial process connections as well as hygienic connections. The system offers a range of configuration possibilities. Fast-response sensor tips for accurate and fast measurements of process temperatures are available: Standard DIN A or B, single or double elements connected via 2-, 3- or 4-wires can be supplied. Users can also configure the sensor tube dimension, the accuracy of the sensor element, an optional cooling neck, the electrical connections, certificates and the sensor tube lengths. Users can also choose between a ceramic terminal block and one of four configurable temperature transmitters that communicate either with a standard 4-20mA output, a Hart or a Profibus PA interface.
George Reed, with the help of Factory Technologies, was looking to further automate the processes at its quarries and make Ignition an organization-wide standard.
Goodnight Midstream chose Ignition because it could fulfill several requirements: data mining and business intelligence work on the system backend; powerful Linux-based edge deployments...
