Cermetek: Embedded Wi-Fi/Ethernet Modem

April 16, 2014
The CH232BGN supports both 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and 10Base-T Ethernet.

This allows it to be used as a network access point linking wired and wireless networks, and also to connect equipment to an existing Wi-Fi or Ethernet system. Measuring just 1 x 1.6 inches with built-in antenna (and able to use an external antenna as well), the unit can fit into a wide variety of embedded systems. A set of simple serial AT commands controls the module’s operation and configuration.
