CONTA-CLIP has extended its SRK series of screw connection terminal blocks, adding approximately 40 new double level models for nominal wire cross sections between 2.5 mm² and 10 mm². The new SRKD double level terminal blocks are available as standard models with two potentials and 2 x 2 connections, with four connections on one potential, or as a protective Ground Terminal Block with a snap-on PE foot contact. The new products are compatible to the existing SRK accessory range.CONTA-CLIP will announce further SRKD types later in 2014, such as models with integrated electronics for switching status signaling and models with surge arresters. Just like the established SRK series, the new SRKD units feature a compact housing and provide excellent stability, vibration resistance, and optimal attachment of the wires to the contact point. The terminals are equipped with a large wire entry bay that facilitates the insertion of wires. The connection of multiple wires is also possible. Manufactured from PA 6.6-V0, the terminal´s robust housing safely anchors the metal parts on the inside. The foot construction of the snap-on units ensures a reliable, firm hold on the mounting rail.
