Helukabel,  has joined the CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA), the non-profit organization that manages and oversees CC-Link networking technology.

CC-Link (control and communication link) is a field bus system used in the areas of manufacturing and production machinery, industrial manufacturing cells or process control applications, testing, sensors, and actuators. Developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in the late ’90s, CC-Link enables industrial network devices from numerous manufacturers to communicate. One of the main strengths of this networking system is the significant reduction of control and power wiring needed in the machinery found on today's complex production lines. Decreasing the amount of cable and wiring used lowers overall costs including installation and maintenance, and minimizes wiring time and troubleshooting while increasing the reliability of the wiring network.

Working with CLPA technical experts, Helukabel submitted and received CLPA certification on its CC-Link Bus Cable. This dual-shielded, PVC-jacketed communication cable is suitable for connecting manufacturing and production machinery operating in environments ranging from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C). It meets CC-Link Specification 1.10 and UL Style CM 75°C or PLTC. Depending on customer needs, a version with power conductors is available.
