The IIoT gateways include a variety of interfaces to connect to Ethernet, serial, and I/O devices, and can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Connected Device Studio. This makes them an all-in-one solution for small to medium-scale deployments, or for easily connecting a large-scale deployment to the cloud. The gateways deliver device data to the cloud with support for Microsoft’s OPC UA Publisher module, making it easy to get data into Azure IoT Hub, and provide the enabling solution necessary to address information integration between control systems across all industries and the IT world. The units are based on the company’s MC-1100 series of quad-core fanless DIN-rail automation computers, which are Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT, can leverage the Microsoft reference configuration and have been tested to work with Microsoft Azure IOT services for industrial IoT applications.
