Panels can be removed individually with no need for the usual disassembly work. It is also easier to install doors and cam locks, and typically without the need for tools. The wall mounting bracket can be quickly screwed into place from outside the enclosure without impacting its protection rating. For maximum space availability, the enclosure now has larger gland plates, creating on average a third more space for cables. In addition, integrated locators enable simple, precise and time-saving incorporation of the interior installation rails. These rails also support dynamic loads seen in many industrial environments. UL protection category is maintained without restrictions. Enclosures are available in wide range of dimensions along with a comprehensive range of standard accessories. AX sizes range from 12 by 12 inches to 55-inches high or 48-inches wide, in depths between 8 and 16 inches. KX enclosures are 6 inches deep or less, with heights and widths between 6 and 32 inches. The company’s Configuration System allows the fast and simple configuration of enclosures, accessories and modifications. Moreover, an automatic plausibility check helps prevent erroneous choices. The configuration data can also be uploaded to EPLAN software engineering software and used for downstream tasks, complete with any modifications.
