A solution for insufficient transmission range and limited capacity in spread-spectrum radios

March 20, 2010
Most spread-spectrum radio manufacturers include a conventional store-and-forward repeater feature to offset insufficient transmission range and/or limited coverage, but this method has minimal success due to increased latency. Control Microsystems' J-Series spread-spectrum Ethernet data radio solves the latency issue.
The J-Series relies on a high-speed, low-latency repeater and a range extending dual antenna bridge that allows for two antennas to be used. The J-Series provides extended radio/modem performance; adaptable Ethernet interfacing, control, and transmission; and secure and trusted access control.More information
