AutomationDirect has added the next generation of the C-more HMI product line, the CM5 series. These HMIs range in size from 4 to 22 inches and have up to 43MB of memory. Units over 10 inches have a 1.6GHz processor. All CM5 panels have serial and Ethernet ports and support protocols such as Modbus, EtherNet/IP and MQTT. The 10-in. and larger models feature an additional Ethernet port, allowing them to act as a data bridge between two separate networks. They also feature USB ports and an embedded SD-card slot for project transfers or up to 32GB of extra data storage. The CM5 HMIs also use free C-more configuration software that also includes a project simulator, event manager, flexible recipes, an array of screen objects, trend graphs, PID faceplates and historical data logging.
