At 1800mm, the new KR1805 industrial cobot offers the longest reach in Kassow’s KR series and still maintains a 5kg payload. The robot’s unique 7th axis—or “wrist joint”— enables access regardless of angle and eliminates the need to reorient the arm. This helps give the KR1805 a small footprint at 160x160 mm. The cobot weighs only 38kg, and has a specially designed user interface, making it easy to relocate and program for operators of any skill level. Because of its long reach and 7th axis, the KR1805 is designed for precise and repetitive tasks like assembly or quality assurance.
