Designed to handle payloads up to 500 kg, the serial-link structured M-950iA heavyweight industrial robot offers a wider range of motion than standard parallel-link robots. Its reach of 2830 mm is paired with a large range of motion on the robot’s J3 axis, allowing it to flip over backwards. The robot is also available with an accuracy and stiffness enhancement option to maintain high accuracy, making it suitable for friction stir welding, drilling and riveting applications.
