Rollon has launched its new Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), which features a new motor to ensure reduced lead times. Rollon’s CTU is a turnkey system that includes an actuator, a gearbox, motor and an electrical cabinet. This new release also features the adoption of a 220V power supply to eliminate the need for industrial voltage. Integration of the R-Smart actuator enhances system stiffness and load capacity. Rollon’s URCap software, allows intuitive programming directly from the Universal Robots teach pendant; the CTU also now supports the entire Universal Robots’ range. With a steel-reinforced belt drive, extruded aluminum profile and recirculating ball guides, the CTU offers high stiffness, lightweight construction and strokes of up to 5500mm, with extensions available upon request.
