Carlo Gavazzi has released three new series of M12 capacitive sensors with IO-Link communications based on their Tripleshield sensors. M12 housing options include PBT, AIS1316L stainless steel or Peek. Inputs and outputs are also configurable with options for NPN, PNP, push-pull, and external input. These sensors have extended functionality and include various logic, timer and logging functions. The M12 capacitive sensors also feature two separate switching signal channels, selectable sensing distance and hysteresis, temperature and dust alarm outputs, and include predictive maintenance.
