The RPS-429AA-40P-IS2 ultrasonic sensor has been tested and certified to meet global standards for intrinsic safety in explosive atmospheres/hazardous locations (ATEX, IECEx and C-UL-US). It can be deployed in Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 or 22 explosive atmospheres and Class I, II, III hazardous locations. The sensor features a 4-20mA two-wire current loop design and an IP66/IP67 rated enclosure.
