Vibration Sensors

Tronics Microsystems now offers vibration sensors aimed at process and asset monitoring applications.

Tronics Microsystems, a TDK Group company, now offers vibration sensors aimed at process and asset monitoring applications. The integration of vibration sensors onto equipment typically requires cables and a gateway for data communication. The MEMS accelerometer developed by Tronics for its vibration sensors performs a native digital transformation of the vibration signal. In this way, raw data are transferred under proven, reliable and secure CAN or Modbus RTU communication protocol, enabling the accelerometers to easily connect in a daisy chain manner to single cable industrial field bus. The MEMS-based digital accelerometers in these sensors have up to 20 kHz bandwidth ±64g for ball and gear defect detection. With a digital output rate up to 50 kHz, the MEMS accelerometers enable accurate computation of Fast Fourier Transformation.
