Monday's Best Bets

You’ll want to be sure to get down early enough to catch the keynote series Monday morning starting at 8 a.m. Following a welcome address from Exchange Chairman Greg Stephens, Emerson Process Management’s John Berra and Steve Sonnenberg will update you on the latest from the company.

The special guest keynoter is Jack Bacon from the NASA International Space Station Program.

This year features a special Management Program designed for mid- to upper-level managers in the process industries. This one-day program on Monday, September 29th, includes the keynote speakers, business leader presentations, a workshop and access to the exhibits. The Management Program will help process industry leaders improve their evaluation skills, tie business results to technology investments and communicate their vision more successfully within their organization.

Realizing the Exchange theme, “Where ideas become solutions” requires more than just technology, it requires trained business leaders to get the maximum performance from the technology they deploy. Don’t miss this enlightening session.

Following the keynotes for those not in the Management Program are a wide variety of roadmap sessions presented at 11 a.m. and at 1 p.m. Leaders of Emerson’s major product/service divisions will provide detailed information on innovations and enhancements that Emerson will release over the next 12 to 36 months, along with insights into the strategy and technology guiding coming solutions.

Roadmaps include DeltaV Platform, Field Instruments, Asset Optimization Services, Emerson Systems Transitions, Non-Emerson Systems Migration, AMS Suite, Fisher Controls and Valve Automation, Process Solutions, Emerson SmartWireless, DeltaV Guardian Support and Ovation Platform.

The popular Industry Forums will begin at 2:15. Choose from among Chemicals; Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences; Engineering; Metals, Mining, Cement and Glass; Oil and Gas; Power and Utilities; Food, Beverage and Consumer Products; and Pulp and Paper.
