Siemens Digital Industries Software has updated its Solid Edge software. The latest release introduces Solid Edge X software in a cloud-enabled, secure software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment, enhanced with new AI-enabled tools. Solid Edge 2025 includes a range of enhancements to increase modeling speed, including improved etch and bend features for sheet metal design, and simplified model-based definition creation. New hybrid annotations are an all-in-one workflow for placing a combination of dimensions and feature control frames in your designs. The latest updates also integrate with Siemens’ Teamcenter software for product lifecycle management. Improved integration with Simcenter FLOEFD software allows for directly importing complex CAD models for analysis.
