SIGMATEK: Change in Senior Management

Feb. 21, 2022
Two of the four Executive Managers at SIGMATEK, provider of automation technology, are stepping down from their active management roles. The mid-sized Salzburg high-tech company will now be led by Marianne Kusejko and Alexander Melkus.

Andreas Melkus, Theodor Kusejko and Marianne Kusejko founded “SIGMATEK” in 1988. The company develops and produces complete system solutions for automating industrial machines and equipment used worldwide.

After 33 successful years, over which the owners built SIGMATEK into a global player with around 500 employees through entrepreneurial foresight and commitment, Andreas Melkus and Theodor Kusejko are stepping back from active management. Now that they have reached retirement age, they will be less present but will continue to support the company with their expertise.

The Executive Management team now comprises Marianne Kusejko, head of the finance, personnel and legal departments and Alexander Melkus, who will oversee development, engineering, production and sales. SIGMATEK therewith remains owner-operated and in experienced hands. “Innovation strength, customer orientation, flexibility and healthy growth are cornerstones of our success story, which we will continue to pursue together with our team of employees”, says the management duo.
