Summary
The seeds of today’s industrial digital transformation were planted during the Industry 3.0 era, as computerized systems and software were adopted to automate production processes over the past 50+ years. As we enter the Industry 4.0 era, manufacturing is taking the next steps in its digital transformation as networks connect communications among individual devices, machinery, production lines and companies on a global basis.
These communications are enabled by Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies — a key component of Industry 4.0 — which is helping drive the use of artificial intelligence (AI) simulation applications to optimize production operations.
That’s why these IIoT and AI technologies are not merely tools, but catalysts for the digital transformation reshaping every facet of the industry.
In this expert discussion, we delve into how AI-driven simulations and IIoT-enabled connectivity are unlocking unprecedented efficiencies, driving predictive maintenance and enabling intelligent decision-making.
Whether you're an automation expert, a plant manager, or a strategic decision-maker, this conversation will illuminate the transformative potential of AI and IIoT and how they’re shaping the next industrial era.
