New Partnership to Deploy Metal Processing Equipment

ArcelorMittal Construction will deploy metal processing equipment from ABB at its French mill

ArcelorMittal Construction will deploy ABB’s metal processing equipment at its French cold-rolling mill, the company reported on May 30.

The upgrade project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024 at ArcelorMittal’s mill in Contrisson, France. The ABB equipment to be deployed includes the company’s Ability Manufacturing Operations Management for metals (MOM4Metals), Roll-Gap (RGC) and Automatic Gauge Control (AGC).
