Rugged Food Industry Sensors

March 2, 2009
Specially targeted for use in the food and beverage industries, E2EH inductive proximity sensors in a food-grade 316L stainless steel housing provide reliable metal object or machine part detection in demanding environments, says the vendor.

The sensor withstands temperatures up to 120ºC and resists corrosion from detergents and disinfectants used in the food industry. Its performance has been tested and certified by EcoLab. The E2EH sensor offers increased sensing range (up to 12mm) that also helps avoid collision damage with passing objects. In addition to the 316L stainless steel housing, the sensor uses a rugged PBT sensing surface and heat-resistant PVC cable that meet the requirements of food and beverage industries. The E2EH is available in standard M12, M18 and M30 sizes, in DC 2-wire models with or without polarity and DC 3-wire models with PNP output.
