    AutomationDirect Offers Additional Fiber Optic Amplifiers

    AutomationDirect’s OPT series of single and multi-fiber photoelectric amplifiers are available with wide detection and working ranges that support transparent object recognition capability.

    The DIN rail-mountable units are equipped with NPN or PNP, push-pull, light-on/dark-on selectable outputs, a bargraph signal-strength indicator, a red LED with visible spot, and key potentiometer or teach-in pushbutton for configuration; IO-Link communication is available on select units.

    Available in four models, the OPT series fiber photoelectric amplifiers start at $79.00 and are IP50/IP65-rated. Also available are one-meter glass (starting at $98.00) and two-meter cuttable plastic (starting at $32.00) fiber optic cables for diffuse and through-beam modes.
