Pluggable Connectors

Sept. 21, 2008
Wieland has released a new pluggable connector that provides 40 amp dc current capability.
Both PST 40i1 connector versions, pre-assembled, as over-molded, cut-to-length, cable assemblies, or field-wired on-site, carry their rated current throughout the entire -40°C to + 85°C temperature range. There is no need to reduce the current based on temperature. Specifications include rated voltage at 1,000 V, wire size from 16 – 8 AWG (1.5 mm² – 10 mm²), TUV certified, and UL in progress.
