System integrator to offer PAS automation and operations effectiveness software to clients worldwide.
Process software and engineering services provider PAS (www.pas.com, Houston, Tex.) has partnered with NovaTech (www.novatechweb.com), a process automation, electric power measurement, and substation automation systems integrator. The Quakertown, Pa., integrator will offer its customers PAS’ automation and operations effectiveness software, which is designed to increase the safety, productivity, and reliability of facilities.

“Our clients routinely request alarm management, high performing operator interfaces, and comprehensive configuration management solutions to operate their facilities safely and profitably,” said NovaTech President Aubrey “Buz” Zey. “We recognized PAS’ leadership and expertise in these areas and decided to introduce them into our portfolio.”

NovaTech will also resell PAS’ Integrity software, which maps the configuration of automation systems, including distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, historians, and safety instrumented systems. Integrity software provides configuration management and management of change within and among disparate vendor’s automation systems.

Other PAS “operations effectiveness” solutions include alarm management software, control loop performance software, and human machine interfaces (HMIs).

About NovaTech boasts more than 30 years of experience and more than 100,000 products and systems installed worldwide, said Zey. “Our solutions aren't restricted to any particular brand of valve, PLC, protective relay, or other capital equipment. This leaves us free to customize our systems to legacy design considerations, and incorporate the resources of strategic partners to add value to our offering,” he added.
