Encouraging Tomorrow's Packaging Engineers, Honoring Career Packaging Professionals

In conjunction with PACK EXPO 2012 taking place October 28 – 31, 2012, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.  Kollmorgen is sponsoring the Amazing Packaging Race – a unique competition that enables students to collaborate with exhibitors and other professionals, learn about new technologies and complete educational tasks prepared by each sponsor.  Kollmorgen is also sponsoring the Packaging Hall of Fame which, since its inception in 1971, has recognized career packaging professionals for their significant contributions to the industry and packaging education. The induction ceremony will be held as part of PACK EXPO on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
 
Kollmorgen will also be exhibiting its family of high-performance motion systems, components and services at PACK EXPO 2012 inbooth 7566.  The Kollmorgen booth will feature numerous live demos, including interactive hands-on opportunities for visitors, to illustrate the performance capabilities of the latest motion and automation technology in action. Attendees are invited to visit booth 7566 to discuss application needs and learn more about how Kollmorgen can help them achieve desired results.  They can also schedule a meeting with a Kollmorgen expert by sending an e-mail with the desired meeting day and time [email protected].  Additionally, Kollmorgen will be presenting on how innovations in motion technology are directly benefitting packaging and processing applications at the PACK EXPO Innovation Stage in the Grand Concourse from 11:30 – noon on Monday, October 29, 2012.
