Patent Issued for O2Micro's Signal Monitoring System

O2Micro International Limited, a global leader in the design, development and marketing of high-performance integrated circuits and solutions, today announced that it was issued 20 claims under United States patent number 8,228,073 for its Signal Monitoring System.

O2Micro International Limited, a global leader in the design, development and marketing of high-performance integrated circuits and solutions, today announced that it was issued 20 claims under United States patent number 8,228,073 for its Signal Monitoring System.

This patented system includes a controller that performs real-time calibration of the output signal of the conversion circuits used in analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion.

Bill Densham, strategic marketing director, O2Micro, commented, "O2Micro's invention offers a self-calibrating analog front end system design, improving accuracy and reducing automatic test equipment (ATE) costs."
