Badger Meter joins the FDT Group

The Board of Directors of the FDT Group AISBL recently approved the application for membership of Badger Meter.

The Board of Directors of the FDT Group AISBL recently approved the application for membership of Badger Meter.  "We are very pleased to welcome Badger Meter as our newest corporate member with full voting privileges. Badger Meter is a market leader in flow measurement and control  and we are delighted by their decision to incorporate the open FDT® technology in their product roadmap," states Glenn Schulz, Managing Director of the FDT Group. "We look forward to their technical and commercial leadership in assisting us to further enhance the open FDT standard."

“Badger Meter believes that an open solution independent of supplier, system and protocol will give the customer an improved unified user experience. Our Research Control Valve Positioner will be the first Badger Meter product to use this technology and we plan to invest in FDT technology for future product developments,”  observes Beth Thomas, Marketing Manager at Badger Meter.

Badger Meter joins more than 85 companies that support the efforts of the international, non-profit, FDT Group to enhance, support, and promote the FDT standard.
