Moxa, a leader in industrial-grade networking solutions, announced it has been recognized with the 2014 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Leadership. Presented at Moxa's Global Distributor Summit at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, Calif., the award is based on Frost & Sullivan's recent analysis of the industrial solutions market

"On behalf of Moxa Inc., it is a great honor to receive the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award for Industrial Communications Solutions," said John Yelland, vice president of Global Marketing for Moxa. "We strive to work harder and smarter to enable Industrial Internet solutions for our partners. We are gratified to be recognized for our commitment to reliable networks and sincere service."

The Customer Value Leadership award recognizes Moxa for being a holistic industrial networking solution provider with a complete range of industrial networking, monitoring, and computing products that are engineered for the harsh environments of the oil and gas industry. Analysis by Frost & Sullivan found that Moxa's products are flexible enough to allow end users to integrate unique or standard industrial control systems such as supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and Internet protocol (IP) devices. Its Turbo Chain redundancy and millisecond recovery capabilities ensure that communications systems are always available and respond in real time.

"Moxa's strong emphasis on superior customer experience has had an impact on its ecosystem of distribution and service networks," observes Frost & Sullivan Senior Industry Analyst Naveen Kumar Ramasamy. "Even though the industrial communications solutions market is more product- and technology-focused, Moxa drives excellence in every area of customer experience. Its service excellence covers all stages of the product lifecycle, from identifying requirements to the delivery phase of the project."

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis and extensive secondary research to identify best practices in the industry.
