PAS Inc., the leading solution provider of process safety, cyber security, and asset reliability in the energy, power, and process industries; announces the addition of David Zahn to its executive leadership team as chief marketing officer and Keith Marriner as vice president of the Asia Pacific region. David is a veteran technology executive with more than 24 years of software and services experience working in start-up and high growth companies. Keith has a diverse 25-year background in selling and delivering industrial automation solutions to the process and power generation industries. Their appointments position PAS for accelerated investment and growth within cyber security as well as traditional PAS markets.

“For over two decades now, PAS has led the industry with products and services that improve plant safety, reliability, and profitability,” says David Zahn. “PAS has also provided innovative solutions that secure unprotected industrial control assets from the consequences of cyber attacks. Product and market leadership along with an already strong management team are behind PAS’ rapid growth today, and they are the primary reasons why I decided to join the company.”

David brings to PAS a strong background in strategic marketing and product development as well as a history in building world-class marketing organizations. He has held software development, implementation, and product leadership positions at companies such as Electronic Data Systems, garden.com (IPO in 1999), BroadJump (acquisition in 2003), Motive (IPO in 2004), and United Devices. Most recently, David was chief operating officer at Consero Global Solutions followed soon after by consecutive vice president of marketing positions at software companies FuelQuest and Avalara.

“PAS solutions are in high demand as they address critical issues in the process industry,” says Keith Marriner of his appointment to PAS. “Automation system complexity and heterogeneity make it difficult for plant operators to exert optimal, timely control over a plant’s critical systems. PAS is the only company that enables such control, which is why I am excited to take the helm in expanding PAS’ footprint across Asia Pacific.”

Keith Marriner joins PAS as the head of the Asia Pacific region bringing with him an extensive background in automation systems for the process and power generation industries. Keith previously held sales and technical leadership positions with Rockwell Automation across Europe and the Middle East, and most recently with Invensys as vice president of Asia Pacific.

“We are thrilled to have David Zahn and Keith Marriner join our management team,” says Eddie Habibi, founder and chief executive officer of PAS. “Both have track records of success at each of their previous companies and are respected for their technology and industry expertise. As we continue to expand our product lines and grow PAS both domestically and internationally, it is important we have their experience on the team so that we continue providing a strong return on investment for our customers.”
