Lamitech receives AIB food safety recognition superior rating for three years in a row

Lamitech, an established leader in the converting of paperboard in North America, announced that its production facility has passed its annual food safety inspection and audit performed by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) International.

Lamitech, an established leader in the converting of paperboard in North America, announced that its production facility has passed its annual food safety inspection and audit performed by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) International. This certificate of achievement signifies that Lamitech produces clean, safe paperboard products qualified for use in the food industry. Lamitech received 955 out of 1,000 possible points, a “Superior” rating, and delivered perfect scores of 200 out of 200 points in three of five categories. As part of the review process, Lamitech was asked to demonstrate performance in the areas of operational methods and personnel practices, sanitation program and procedures, integrated pest control, overall maintenance and thoroughness of documentation to validate on-going activities. This activity is in support of the formal corporate HACCP plan. “With our third AIB audit and inspection now complete, I am proud to state that our performance scores have increased each year from 935 to 945 to 955. As we expand our offerings of direct food contact products within the bakery industry through our Signature Food Boards line, we have an obligation to provide the highest quality and safest products to enhance the valuable brand images of the businesses we serve” said Adam Reiser, VP and General Manager of Lamitech. “Lamitech has always had a commitment of taking care of our customers’ needs through the pursuit of excellence in our products, production processes and dependable performance, setting us apart from our competition.”
