Advantech’s IIoT Automation Group is pleased to announce the launch of the 15” TPC-5152T, 17” TPC-5172T and the 21.5” TPC-5212W two-piece modular touch panel computers.

Advantech’s IIoT Automation Group is pleased to announce the launch of the 15” TPC-5152T, 17” TPC-5172T and the 21.5” TPC-5212W two-piece modular touch panel computers.

With the arrival of Industry 4.0 and the resulting shift in market demands, conventional all-in-one panel PCs lacks the flexibility to meet industry requirements. To address the need, Advantech has created a series of touch panel modular PC solutions. All three models come with an Intel® Core™ 6th generation i-3 processor with 8 GB of DDR4 SODIMM, industrial-grade LED LCD with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, 5-wire resistive touch, Advantech’s iDoor capability, SSD expansion, IP66 compliant front panel protection, built-in TPM 2.0, and much more.

The incredible flexibility of these touch panel PCs with a modular design offer numerous performance and cost saving advantages, including rapid customization according to specific application requirements, easy integration and deployment, and high serviceability, and future expandability for long lifecycles. The commonality of components allows customers to produce multiple products using the same solutions, thereby accelerating development and shortening the time to market. Moreover, rather than sending the entire system for repair, customers only need to replace faulty components, drastically reducing system downtime and interruptions to production.

The built-in TPM 2.0 provides hardware-based encryption and control on boot to ensure data integrity and secure transfers across diverse platforms as well as addition security by tracking history records. The TPM can also be used as a replacement for smart cards, reducing associated costs and allowing customers to add value by integrating Advantech’s iDoor technology.
