Winsted, a worldwide leader in ergonomic control room consoles and command center technical furniture introduced the IMPULSE DUAL SIT/STAND CONSOLES.

Engineered to withstand the rigors of 24/7 control room usage, Winsted IMPULSE DUAL SIT/STAND CONSOLES include two independently adjustable work surfaces that provide the utmost adaptability for the widest range of users to achieve the ergonomic benefits of a sit/stand system.

The two desktops have a curved design to further ergonomic benefit by locating the maximum amount of workspace within reach of the operator. Work surfaces are finished in durable, high-pressure laminate and feature Winsted’s exclusive Safeguard Edge protective bumper, which tolerates the abuses of continuous use while preventing dings and delamination.

“Winsted has amassed vast intelligence from over five decades designing technical furniture for high-use applications.” said Kent Lilja, Head Engineer at Winsted. “We understand the challenges of providing a functional workspace that can accommodate an ever-changing array of users and their specific needs.” Lilja added.

Electric-lift legs have a load capacity of 520lbs. to raise or lower the work surface height between 30" and 46" and offer three user-configurable presets. Finished in a durable black power-coat paint that resists fingerprints and wear, Winsted IMPULSE DUAL SIT/STAND CONSOLES feature a high-capacity cable channel incorporated into the modesty panel as well as four vertical cable carriers that travel with the work surfaces. A CPU pedestal mounts to the inside of the leg and includes levelers and two slots for adjustable Velcro™ straps to secure the CPU. Perforated panels conceal cables and enhance the look of the console while adding privacy for the operator. Optional decorative end panels are available in a wide variety of laminate colors and as well as full-color custom graphics.

The Winsted Versa-Trak integrated horizontal aluminum track supports a wide variety of monitor arrays and offers the ultimate in versatility with easy horizontal adjustment. Post-mounted VESA brackets provide vertical adjustments along with the ability to tilt and pivot monitors. Three different height availabilities 15", 28.5", and 42" allow for creating monitor arrays suitable for any application.
