An EtherNet/IP communication module is now available for the Lenze 8400 Series StateLine, HighLine and TopLine control cabinet devices in addition to the 8400 motec and protec decentralized frequency inverters. Dual-port technology and an external 24V backup supply allow installation of fieldbus interfaces for communication via EtherNet/IP-enabled control systems. The 8400 Series features L-Force automation technology for motion control and are IP66-, IP20- and IP31-rated for use in printing machines, automotive plants, material handling, and intralogistics operations. The TopLine drive’s sequencer allows up to 100 actions for automatic execution of positioning, which can be parameterized directly in the inverter. It also performs positioning control without a program logic controller. An integrated oscilloscope function presents recorded signals with an adjustable time base from 5 milliseconds to 1 second, simultaneously, for up to eight channels. Signal scanning and recording within the drive can be performed in one millisecond, according to Lenze.
